Clear eligibility, from the start. A certificate requires a domain interview score of at least 40/100, completed and valid assessments, and the required approvals. Aptitude has no minimum score. A low aptitude score does not prevent you from taking the interview.

A useful credential explains what was assessed and provides a way to check its current record.
Assessment-based results
Submitted answers inform scoring. Academic review and integrity verification are separate checks before an earned result is released.
Reviewed integrity signals
Monitored assessments use camera and shared-screen evidence with your consent. Signals and capture gaps can require review; an event alone is not proof of cheating.
Public certificate verification
Share an issued certificate’s verification link so a recruiter can check the candidate, skill, level, issuance basis and current status without signing in.
Shortlistii certification is a platform skill credential, not a professional licence or a guarantee of employment. Employer recognition is decided by each employer. Read our privacy policy.

What is the difference between skill certification and interview practice?
Certification is a formal assessment of one skill at a chosen level, including aptitude and a domain interview. Eligible candidates receive a certificate after the required checks. Practice interviews are for preparation and feedback; completing practice does not issue a certificate.
Can I certify more than one skill?
Yes. Each certificate is specific to one skill and assessment level. You can schedule separate available assessments for different skills from your resume, such as Python and SQL.
Is AI interview practice free?
You receive three free practice interviews each month. Further practice sessions use 0.1 credit each. A free account is required, and your remaining allowance is shown before scheduling.
What score do I need for a skill certificate?
Your domain interview score must be at least 40/100. Both assessments must be completed and valid, and the academic, integrity and other required eligibility checks must pass. There is no minimum aptitude score. A qualifying score alone does not automatically issue a certificate.
Can I retake a certification to improve my score?
You can request a retake from your assessment history. Retakes require Shortlistii super admin approval and do not have a preparation cooldown. A failed attempt still consumes its credit.
What do I need before joining a monitored assessment?
Use a supported desktop browser, a working camera and microphone, and a stable connection. Complete the display check and share your entire screen when enabling evidence capture. Joining is blocked until the display check passes; disconnect additional active displays if prompted. The pre-session checks explain the requirements and capture consent.
Can employers check my certificate without an account?
Yes. Issued certificates have a public verification link that shows the current certificate record. This is separate from your private answers, recordings and assessment evidence.
